Still no computers to replace leavers?

With how often you get someone rage-quitting or disconnecting because of a "hurricane", I can't help but wonder why we still don't have the computer pick up for someone when they leave. Heroes of the Storm does it, and no one complains about it there.

League's bot AI isn't nearly good enough for me to want it instead of just an empty slot. They'd just be walking gold sacks.

I've actually put quite alot of thought into this, and have wondered if they would want to introduce a system, where other players of same Rank/elo, or anybody really (if norms or other un-comp game mode) would be invited to take that persons place instead, and players could opt in or out of playing as Fillers, who would take over where the last left off. although there is many flaws in this idea, it would be interesting to see where it goes.

And i dont mean the player who left/afk'd/raged would get the win if the replacement with the team won, but the replacement would get his own win, and the leaver would still have to take the L and may be reported as needed. if the leaver we're to come back, then the replacement could get a prompt that they are no longer needed and a thank for the help, and maybe a small ip reward, and then even maybe a bit of small small amount of Lp rewarded if it is ranked. but open to more thoughts on this. and for the bots discussion as the first topic.

i'm not normally one to make larger comments, but 4v5's are really stressful even without it being competitive.

Maybe they should actually go back and update the AI that's laid stagnant for years now?

You really want inting bots on your team?

So basically you are expecting either a bot who is a literal minion worth a lot more gold, or who has the intelligence on par with OpenAI. Either way that'd be bad, some things are just really unfortunate and can't be helped much. Its a big gray area if you are really expecting them to have a bot that would play decently but also make mistakes like a human. I've played too much League of Legends so i've seen plenty of afks too.

Hots is a much more shallow game so bots can probably work better there. League won't be getting working bots unless open ai decide to apply their work to league. (And even then, I don't know how well ai bots work with human allies compared to with other open ai allies).
