Why this many placement matches?
I am seeing 10 placement matches..it was lower before wasn't it? What gives?

How long ago have you played? I distinctly remember it being 10 for S5 and S6, and I'm pretty sure it's the same for S4.
It's always been 10, but it's pretty annoying to have to do 10 placement matches in the preseason, then another 10 in January when the actual season starts. I usually just don't play ranked in the preseason, then I go hard on it when the actual season starts.
