The new Jungle sucks for everyone except a certain few Champions

So, I've recently gotten autofilled Jungle, a role I used to play a lot during last season with my main Scorpion Skarner . All fine and dandy, I know my champ and I know how to Jungle.

Too bad I didn't pick THE Jungler but instead settled for one with mediocre clearing and not the best early pressure but instead one relying on ramping up.

The enemy? None other than Hecarim While I was still level 6 he was 9, with a lot more cs and decently fed because of the early ganks he could pull off while I was still in my cozy spires.

My team flamed the hell out of me and I could just do my best and try stalling. In the end we may have won but It really showed me how fucked you are if you don't pick a jungle who has: A) great clearing B) Brutal early ganks C) A lot of damage/burst

I've seen it multiple times with my teammates picking junglers that used to be decent last season but with the new season it has become hell for anyone except those few champs called Vi, Lee, Zac and Hecarim.

Season 6 was great for every Jungler but now? Can't we just decrease the XP you get from camps and reduce the spawn rates so that Junglers with Meh early games stand a chance to actually be useful?

But Skarner is just fine in the new jungle and does have pretty good early pressure.

I think the problem here is you were auto-filled jungle so you were very out of practice. Not saying Hec isnt strong or anything, but Skarner is one of the "few champions" you are talking about with good clears in the new jungle.

Furthermore, I couldn't fathom how "decrease the XP you get from camps and reduce the spawn rates" could possibly fix the issue. Straight up nerfing the jungle would make the issue much, much worse for anything but the top tier junglers

There certainly are some winners and some losers in the new jungle, and certainly jungle pathing has changed dramatically. If you're playing one of the champs who got hit hardest (like Skar), and you don't know the new optimal jungle pathings for him, you're certainly going to have a hard time. I've adjusted the jg champs I play a bit and I don't really mind having the encouraged variety.

This season junglers are overpowered and pretty much singlehandedly decides game, so if you pick a non S tier jungler and the other jungler picks lee/hec/vi/etc you kind of lose the game on spot.
