Why can't we give Jax an ad ratio on his W or ult passive.

seriously. can we play him like a melee ad carry bruiser. gunblade is great on him. but maybe I don't want to build such squish offensive items on him. why can't we have an AD ratio on at least. his W. meanwhile fizz gets 100% ad ratio on his Q that isn't even an auto attack. and it also applies on hit effects. fizz would literally make better use of trinity force procs.. I mean its an aa cancel. that has no ad ratio. nobody thinks of Jax as an ap carry. hes mixed yes but his damage is like 60 ad and 40 ap. now that devoure is gone. its more like. 70/30. I can't really get any penetration items of any sort. or ad bruiser item. and feel like am making a good use of them because am not.

am just saying that why are we pigeon holed into the same offensive items for him. I mean irelia gets 120% ad ratio on a gap closer that isn't even an auto and jax gets a damn ap ratio on his auto cancel. what the hell?

do what you did to xin. give him ad ratios and nerf his ap ratios. pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease

I've played this game. for almost a year. am gold 5 now. you know how many times I saw jax played in the top lane. I swear I seen yorick more in the top lane than jax.

let me play him ad.

Jax's W DOES scale with AD. 100%. Because its an auto-attack. It's also an auto-attack reset, so with good timing you can make one auto into 2. And the damage on his ult doesn't scale with AD but the Armor on it does, so...go with it?

if your gonna come here and basically read me Jax abilities. please don't. I know what they do and don't state the obvious as if it was a secret somehow. hes not an ap carry. I want an ad ratio on his aa reset like Renekton Darius MonkeyKing Garen Fiora

you know just about every top laner with an aa reset.

Saying that Jax's W doesn't scale with AD is just wrong, so Im not sure you DO know what they do. Also, not to sound like a broken record, but his ult passive also sort of DOES scale with AD, considering it requires auto-attacks, which have a 100% total AD ratio. He has plenty of AD scalings in his kit and quite frankly I think he should be rewarded more for building the small amount of AP he bothers to.

Funny, I was sort of thinking the same about this shit-post.

Well, I can assure you, he wasn't trolling. I can't really find a better way to put it, but Jax already scales with AD. Building more AD does mean he deals more damage with his W, since it's an empowered auto-attack that deals bonus magic damage but that still deals your amount of AD as Physical Damage, as all auto-attacks.

His Q and E both have an AD ratio, and building AD also gives him more Armor with his ult. So it's perfectly viable to build AD Bruiser items. I don't understand what you're complaining about.

Because if you gave them ratios, they'd lose base damage.

In such a case, Jax loses out when he's behind, and AP Jax (if anyone actually uses it) ends up gutted.

His early-mid game (6-9) goes to shit because he can't harass with R buffers as well anymore, and Trinity becomes a much less efficient buy vs something like Gunblade (which is currently very bad as a first buy; Jax depends on Trinity).

Giving Jax an AD ratio on his W and R procs is a net nerf, no matter the situation unless you're building glass cannon AD, which makes Jax much more binary and boring; a subpar assassin, wannabe Yi.

you know everything you just shit posted is too funny. because none of it makes any fucking sense at all.

Tell me when Jax ever builds significant AD.

Usually 2 offensive items equates to ~100 bonus AD total. At most; usually lower. I can't imagine it ever getting more than a .35 bonus AD ratio. He'd likely lose more than 35 base damage on those abilities as compensation.

You really think they'd just flat out buff Jax with an AD ratio on the W/R spell procs without any compensation nerfs? Especially when his jungle shot up to 52% winrate with the latest change to his passive?

did I say not to compensate nerf them? I said to reduce his ap ratios. why did xin get an ad ratio on his w passive. i dont fuckin know maybe so you can build ad on an aaing champion. thats my point. instead of going squish ap items. with ad ratios he will build items any other bruiser can build.

Nobody utilizes his AP ratios. It wouldn't be compensation because its effectively a dead stat on him. Its like saying

Rioter 1: "Hey, let's give Vlad buffs."

Rioter 2: "Vlad doesn't need buffs though"

Rioter 1: "We can compensate by nerfing his mana regen."

Rioter 2: "But Vlad doesn't even use mana"

Rioter 1: "Its still compensation. Who cares how strong he'll end up?"

Its simply absurd as this scenario sounds to use the parallel thinking that you are. Not relative because mana is literally a non-existant stat on Vlad you say? Replace Vlad with Rek'Sai, and mana regen with AP ratios. Same thing. Don't agree with that? Graves. Same deal.

Xin got an AD ratio because he only ever functions consistently when he's built as a tank. They wanted AD to be viable because Xin's theme does not fit tank, hence the crit as well. They want him to be a fighter/assassin. Not a tank/initiator.

Jax is an entirely different direction of gameplay than Xin unless you're bad and just want to Rambo in.
