Anivia Q

Playing Anivia i recently noticed that casting her q on smartcast won't let you cast if your cursor is out of the maximum range of her q....almost all other smartcasts are able to be cast here so i was wondering why not her, it's difficult to lead someone with the skillshot when you can't cast it like this. Also, her q response needs to be more sensitive, i can cast it and then it usually takes 2-3 re-clicks to get it to stun if i want to stun someone within melee range.
