Every form of non-champion damage that contributes to high burst in the game:

FCJAAAAGOOOO··2 votes·1,626 views

Items: item 3057 items, item 3285, item 3748, item 3151, item 3508, item 3124, item 3095, item 3135 Not counting Duskblade because a huge chunk of its damage has been converted into utility, granted said utility greatly encourages bursting. Not counting IE/Deathcap because they're often irrelevant most games to most champions until the game gets to the 35+ minute mark.

Keystones: Conqueror (with minimal effort from certain champions), PTA, Lethal Tempo, Hail of Blades, Electrocute (granted less of a problem now), Dark Harvest (again - nerfed recently), Predator

Runes: Last Stand, Coup De Grace, Cut Down, Cheap Shot, Sudden Impact, Zombie Ward, Ghost Poro, Eyeball Collection, Ultimate Hunter (with ultis like Karthus's), Absolute Focus, Gathering Storm (granted typically irrelevant in this short game meta), Shield Bash

Summoners: summoner 14, summoner 14 (the second one on a team), summoner 14 (hey, at least it's nerfed on PBE?)

Monster buffs: Infernal (stacks up to three times), Herald, Baron, Red Buff

IMHO, either the majority of AD/AP burst items need to be toned down/reworked or the damage from Runes/Keystones needs to be toned down/reworked. This all just seems like too much considering many champions' burst damage is already pretty high.

I mean, just look at all of this - since when was there THIS MUCH bonus damage and %damage amp in this game?

Er... You forgot all of the OTHER crit items, all of the onhit items, and all of the other active items in the game.

Do you seriously expect us to think your not shitposting when you think LIANDRIES is a burst item and dont include any of the crit offenders?!

I dunno how to tell you this, man... but uhh... Crit items that aren't IE/Stormrazer, are uhh.. DPS/waveclear items... not burst.....

What item that you listed above literally doubles your ad/dmg for most or all of your aa's? None.[zombie-brand-mindblown]

How do you still not understand the concept of dps vs. burst? [zombie-brand-mindblown]

Burst combo: approximately 2.5 sec or more to deal - does maybe 2k damage Adc dps: get off 4 aa's and an ability or two during this time... aa's dealing at least 500 damage to bursty enemies per aa... 4*500= 2000 or 2k damage.

Burst champion after that burst combo... mediocre dps, 4+ sec cd for burst to be up again Adc with crit... essentially the same damage

Ummm... yeah I understand dps. But please, keep this up. I'm interested how long you can keep lying to yourself.[sg-miss-fortune]

Now following your logic so far, you'll point out how it takes 2.5 sec to deal that damage and that before the 2.5 sec, like say at 1 sec or 1.5 sec, the burst champ has dealt more damage. Or that the adc would die from that damage. To which I'll point out that looking at damage in 1 sec is irrelevant because 1k damage slightly faster than your opponent dealing 1k damage is irrelevant if you are both alive after sustaining that level of damage. Thus why I look at around 2.5 sec and doing enough damage to blow up a squishy.

Moreover, I can point out things like... adc's can do this damage from longer range which means the other champion sustains significant damage before even getting in range to return damage. Or that if you counter this point of mine by citing things like kalista, lucian, or vayne... they get bonus damage and other safety features in their kit to help them out... which means the dps they deal is going to be higher.

My bad... I just ruined our next two post/counter-posts by having that whole debate by myself in this post.

Not really?

Who cares about adcs when they don't have a gimmick or can't kill you from touching you once?

I guess you just can't possibly understand the difference between adc dps and someone barely being in range for 0.25 seconds -> stun (optional) -> death.

It's really funny. Hilarious, even!

You've just proven that either you don't know how to read or you have very serious short-term memory loss. Either way it makes whatever you say irrelevant.

I suggest either you at least graduate from 2nd grade or that you stop doing drugs - depending on which of the above is correct - before you puke out more nonsense. Then again... if it's the first one, you won't be able to understand what I'm writing so there's not much purpose in me putting it here. Oh well.

Touch someone with 1 ability from anyone and see what happens. Everyone still melts to it despite barely any interaction.

Rageblade is such a pinnacle of damage when stacked, that autos actually become burst-per-second. BorK/etc. are definitely not the offenders here; only Rageblade is.

every single AD and AP item in the game increases damage so guess what? touch someone while having any of those items and they will melt as well
