Why the weak jhin nerfs in comparison to rengar and others

lets be real here. Rengar isn't destroying solo queue like ibg ekko has and for the most part most of the complain comes from salty pro play fans. he has pretty lower than average winrate and will get nerfed again just like meddler said

Now look at Jhin. picked in every game for IEM. also pretty much 100% p/b so far in lcs. what does he get. -25% slow on the ult?. lol?. down from 75% to 50%. I mean thats not a huge nerf. thats very much comparable to the -5ad warrior nerf we had few years ago. also he has +50% playrate (which is something I have not seen in 2 years of league of legends). the highest I've ever seen was like lee sin 40% playrate. and that wasn't that long ago.

He has the right numbers, just presented in the wrong manner. Slow duration went from 0.75 -> 0.50 seconds. Regardless, OP's point still stands in that Jhin's nerfs were super light. In fact, they always have been. Check back on the patch notes from over the summer. When Ashe, Sivir, Jhin were dominating the ADC meta, Ashe and Sivir suffered hard nerfs (Ashe for 4 patches in a row) while Jhin got similar miniscule nerfs to the ones he's got now. It's no wonder that the champion never fell out of meta.

Because he's not exactly overpowered, he's just way more powerful than every other ADC that isn't Varus, MF, or Caitlyn.

Jhin excels without lethality though. Sure he benefits from it, but Jhin was every bit as effective without it. The champion has been at the top of every ADC meta since his release.

Also, in regards to ibg Ekko, I'm pretty sure OP means in the past season when tank Ekko was super dominant, not in the current meta.
