Personally I'd rather have a button that's "fill except for this role" 'cause goodness only knows I can do anything other than Jungle XD But this'd be kinda nice 'cause sometimes I'd like to play Top, Mid, or Adc and that's not an option 'cause I only get two, and fill means jungle in my general experience. Which is a pain 'cause then I can't do it lol.

But uh yeah it'd be nice to have the option even just to have it.

Unless this gets more people to play support, it wont work because it just runs counter to the purpose of autofill. If you're doing that, you might as well just remove autofill.

If we implement your idea, it simply becomes 1 more button to click before a game. Does that extra button actually do anything or is it just a wasted action?

Since I dont have empirical data, anecdotal will need suffice. How many times when you get autofilled, do you get a position that isn't your last choice? For most people, this is support, but I have gotten a game here or there that autofilled me top or jungle. However, usually I'm just stuck with support, my, and many other's, last pick. In this situation, having a 3rd role being considered doesn't really contribute much other than being 1 more button to click.

Riot said that top, support, and jungle are close in pick rates and vary depending on elo with top being the least popular role is many high elo brackets. So I don't see a reason why we would need autofill if everyone picked 3 roles. At the very least, allow players to exclude one role, the pick rates for top and support are so close right now that it won't increase queue times significantly.

That being said, I would prefer riot just remove autofill. Queue times are only marginally better with it anyway.
