The MMR system needs a complete overhaul. Justify the current matrix to me.

Great you win you gain MMR. You lose, you lose MMR. If you're good then on average your MMR will rise.

Fine that's great. Apparently. Some of you like playing 200 games for a 52% rate and climbing.

What about us others?

The ones that don't feed?

The ones that understand lane control?

Damage taken Vs damage death?

CS per minute?

Objectives?

Low deaths?

I just played with a gold 3 riven with 1 million points. She literally pushed the lane Vs Lucian non stop died, respawned, died, repeated. So I couldn't even gank her....And then after lane phase ended had 0 objective understanding. No dragons. No barons.

I had to win the game by forcing a fed Lucian to keep coming top after lane phase ended. Yes. We won because instead of ending with a lead he did that. It was pathetic watching it.

How did a player like this riven this get this high? Answer: facerolling melee top laners and law of averages.

This shouldn't be happening. SKILL should be an overriding factor in advancement not picking a broken champ or two and smashing your lane to a win or feeding like a moron and winning slightly more than you lose.

Can we stop championing this r%%%%%ed MMR system and in%%%%% have something tangible and realistic??? Why isn't game theory rewarded more than stat checking bullshit????????

There is no universal "good" stat values by champion usable for MM.

Padding stats is less work then winning. Examples.

OBJ damage? Split off when enemy pushes to take towers or Buffs. You might lose the game by leaving it as a constant 4 on 5 but hey you got Rift and single handedly took down 3 towers that match.

CC? Damage? Mindlessly spam abilitys at any target in range. If I hit Karthus R every time its off cd I will out damage the one who hold onto the ability to help other lanes or secure kills.

KDA? Be a selfish player. If I Run away from fights that present any risk of death with Karthus and just aim to KS with R, My KDA is better then if I die at a good spot for my passive to make impact on the result of the teamfight. Each death dramatically lowers KDA, going from 1 to 2 deaths cuts it in half. Using arbitrary stats for K,D,A is better but again not all champions have the same values so how do you use specific champion values for MM when players pick champions After Lobbys get made?

How's it gonna MM accurately when you play very well as Braum but your a garbage feeder with Sona and you randomly swap between the two? This is the same issue MM currently has when folks play with no consistency and make mismatched games. Again, You Can not use Individualized stats by champions as champs are selected after a lobby is made.

What metric of skill is better then consistent ability to influence Win or loss results? In competition when is it ever considered winning if you don't win? How would you suggest using Base line stats for each role as individual champions generate different values. DrMundo self heal > Ornn

Binominal Distribution + Probability. This is something that can be Tracked reliably and consistently.
