Are you implying that Riot should admit to making a mistake?

It's matchmaking problem, not a meta one. This rune system is new and people who can't adapt are going to keep making builds that are too ineffective. Players are too busy crying OP.

I've gotten -22 LP, viewed as the "advantage team with higher MMR"... my team was nothing but people who should never be in ranked and are in provisional games. My jungler had a reaction time of 2 seconds. Rito's system has been in denial of an old problem, passed on because previously there were only a few new ranked players that could ruin games. The non-judgemental entry requirements, are terrible and snowballed into the extremely low standards of the default MMR. The ranked community was silenced in throwing out the baby with the bathwater in the anti-toxic behavior system; newer players should not be doing ranked and accounts with <100 mastery points are almost guaranteed to definitely be ruining games if they have no previous moba experience.

Honestly, this has been coming for a while but the actual design of season 8 and the new stuff for season 9 isn't to blame. (Although Master Yi...)
