i usually play gp or irelia
but when i play gp, jungle just camps me all game and they turret dive, other lanes lose still without jungler interaction, so really it never gets penalized, so the camping lasts forever.
who has good survability early game but can actually carry awful people late?
i was thinking darius but im a shit darius tbh.

Maokai and Poppy have decent early-game trading potential and great CC/utility for teamfights.
Sion is rather strong early-game while providing powerful CC throughout the game.
Ekko is Ekko. Fervor of Battle + Trinity Force -> Full Tank is still rather powerful.

The slightly more advanced stuff like animation cancelling (AA > W > Q) can always be learned later.
He has a relatively safe and sometimes abusive early game against many champions and has pretty decent scale thanks to noxian might mechanic (critical that you unlock it though which can be pretty hard late game).
