Megathread: Community Rune Feedback & Questions

ModThe Djinn··2 votes·349 views

I feel having a single place for us to share feedback and ask questions may be a good idea, so let's give this a whirl.

I'll start off with two questions and a comment. Please share yours (or give answers) below!

#IDENTIFYING VISUALS ##Sorcery Aery: Aery circles around you. Aery will fly slowing back to you after activating. You will also have a buff icon above your resource bar. Manaflow Band: Your resource bar glows. No known visible timer for the effect. Scorch: Your hands glow blue. No known visible timer for the effect. Absolute Focus: No visible indicator.

#Questions

  1. Is Aery represented by your manabar glowing, or was that effect something else?

#Feedback

  • Minion disintegration could use a more immediately satisfying effect. It's easy to miss that it's working the first few times you use it, which makes it feel really awkward.

Is a blue ring around your character an indicator that Manaflow Band is active

I know Manaflow band is when your manabar glows and is a lighter blue color then regular

Awesome. Thanks! That means Aery may be glowing blue hands, and leaves the mysterious blue circle unaccounted for!

Just did some testing in the practice tool, mana band is also the glowing blue hands, you know when you have aery back when it returns to you but if you dont catch when that happends it will show aery on your status bar, there is no addition to your char body if you have aery or if you do not.

Funny, I had just tried that myself -- I think the glowing hands must be Scorch then. Appreciate it!

Seems like two fairly common comments from other threads are:

  1. Having so many runes scale off of level makes everybody snowbally
  2. Lots of strong damaging runes, not a lot of strong defensive runes, and defensive stats not being adjusted sufficiently leads to a very lethal game
