vel koz ult does 1.5k true damage. when is vel koz getting some changes.

highest winrate in mid lane.

sitting at 54% winrate for almost 6 patches.

but thats fine because hes not zed or yasuo.

If you look at his play rate, you'll understand why he's allowed to stay as strong as he is for multiple patches. Plus you should be building more health. Dealing a lot of true damage is velkoz's niche thanks to the mid year mage update.

His Q, E and R already have CC stronger than Rylai's Crystal Scepter's slow.

The only thing that affects is his W.

Q - Slows people, but still ez to dodge.

E - A knock-up that requires proper timing.

Q and first part of W are not easy to dodge + his ult applies passive stacks itself, so..

You shouldn't be at a distance where his Q or W are point blank anyways. And you shouldn't be in a position where you can't get out of his ult long enough for it to matter.

Why would I be 1v1ing him like that in the first place? Even if I were to 1v1, I's preferably flank first and rip out his soul. Dodge Q/W/E. Start hitting soul. If he burns his laser, I'd just run, because it was a waste to use it on just me at that point. If he doesn't, I'd either kill the Spirit or ult and kill him/force a back.

Considering he needs to hit every skillshot for ultimate to do true which holds him in place locked in position, not really.

But in general, yes. But there are no skillshots like that at the moment.

World's balance is drastically different than the normal game. It's not even about skill either, it's about coordination, comp strategies and team tools. Regardless of if he sees worlds play, he is still super oppressive in soloq from Bronze 5 to Diamond 1.
