Can we just permaban Morde at Worlds?
It is such a hilarious waste of a ban at this point, just get rid of him so we can have 1 more meaningful ban rather than giving the team with 2nd pick a disadvantage with having 2 bans.

I'm not even sure whether or not that's proof of something wrong with morde.
I think that nobody on the pro scene wants to break with the meta they've been practicing all these years. I mean these guys have been peeling for squishy ranged carries for years. Assassinating squishy ranged carries for years. All of their practice basically revolves around one person doing consistent, ranged, AD and not having a lot of survivability. Morde would ruin all of that training.
I mean I even doubt anyone on the pro scene practiced with Morde. They knew he'd be banned.
Edit: They'll probably permaban morde at worlds until Riot makes more bot lane Melee carries. Right now it's too easy just to ban the singular massive outlier.
Why not permaban on the live server too?
Something tells me you did not see the season 3 worlds. Kassadin laughs at Mords ban rate.

Kass had a 100% ban rate for the longest and they didn't just disable him, so they're not gonna do it for Mordecancer either.
He actually got through once today (H2k vs BKT), and won pretty easily.
Umm he has not been perma banned. He has been played once and slipped through both ban and pick in a game. And even if you did it would just make someone else almost perma banned.
I said it before but Imo Pros are trying to say to Riot "we don't want this Morde"
To be honest.... I think the pros just dont want to be bothered with him. He's countered by the same team comps that counter darius... Which is why i'm still confused about darius priority. Balls' pentakill doesn't make up for the nothing he provided in every other game.
