I mean, even the stupid Evelynn nerfs somehow made it through, along with no changes to Morde? Not to mention Riot has been totally silent on Morde while he has been terrorizing pro teams at Worlds.

What is the point of this board if Riot never takes our input in for anything? Just delete Gamplay and Balance if you won't listen to us.

While you, Riot, are at it, delete Story and Art because you definitely do not listen to the people who know lore much, much more than your employees.

Really can't blame them, best example is Viegar. Not long ago the boards were filled with buff Viegar QQ threads. Would you believe that now? After Riot buffed him now there are only nerf Viegar QQ threads. I personally cannot take anything seriously after that. One could say they failed their job. Still nothing stings more than lets say giving a homeless person some food and they go "I asked for money you idiot!" That is why they don't take these boards seriously. Sad part is you see some hidden gems on these boards but they get buried under the crap.

Unfortunately, yes, this board is largely ignored. Sad thing is if you want any kind of hope of Riot noticing your post you're better off posting in the cesspool that is General Discussion and just pray it gets seen before it's overwhelmed by all the **** that's in there.

I have to say I agree with all of that. This is something I've noticed and said for a long time now. Not only do their "balance" team members ignore this board, the moderators do as well. It's very disheartening and increasingly frustrating.

I really don't want G&B deciding game balance. For every one balance decision they have been right about, they've been wrong about twenty five more, and I wish I was joking.

Lissandra passive is the worst in the game.

AP Fizz is fine.

AD Fizz is the most broken in the game.

Irelia is a perfectly healthy champion with lots of counterplay.

Kalista was dogshit on release.

Nidalee is tied with Fizz as the most bullshit champion in the game (this was after her rework mind you).

Leblanc is perfectly healthy and not bullshit to play against.

Veigar is too weak, I mean too strong, I mean too weak, I mean too strong.

Lux is too weak, I mean too strong, I mean too weak, I mean too strong.

MissFortune weakest champion in the entire game, you might as well play two supports bot lane.

Riven LeeSin Thresh Basically you don't even have to play the game. As long as these three champion are on your team, you'll instantly win.

And I haven't even scratched the surface yet.

Because what G&B thinks they want would make them hate the game even more. OMG Vayne so OP, impossible to win before she hits late game! OMG, tower suck ass! Buff Towers! Wow, assassins are so OP, nerf nerf nerf! Wow, Jinx so OP; gets a penta every game! Lee Sin so broken, gut lee Sin! Sated Devourer so broken, gut devourer!

Not to mention that a solid 3rd of the games champions would be unplayable garbage and mages would dominate every single game if G&B got their way.

To be on the balance you team you must have a minimum rank of plat. Considering 95% of the community is below plat 3, aka the majority of the posts are by people not able to even be on the balance team, I don't see why they would look at this board anymore. Like 99% of the posts are just low Elo QQ while the productive 1% gets buried by the QQ

the reason why they appear to ignore us is because the the vast majority of the player base are not game designers. Many people who comment on these forums don't understand the meaning behind pick rate, win rate, and sample size. They throw out anecdotal evidence as empirical fact. They come to wild conclusions on a champion's kit before that champion has even hit the pbe. Most forum commentators do all this while maintaining an attitude that they know how to balance the game better then the people who made the game. such an entitled behavior is off putting, especially when we are wrong more often the right.

The truth is they do listen to us, but they take all these posts with a grain of salt. the player base complaining about a champion is not proof that there is something wrong with that champion. It is evidence that this is how the player base currently feels about a champion. They have other tools to measure how balance a champion is, tools that we don't have. And if they realy didn't know what they were doing, then why does LOL have such a large playerbase at all? Let's let the professionals take care of the issues.

Well when people complain that Riot is butchering every champ and has no idea what they're doing, of course they won't pay attention to the board. If more people held reasonable mature discussions about champions rather than hate threads against CertainlyT or the Balance Team, things might acutally get accompished. |°o°| Imagine what a starnge world that would be...

here is my prediction for eve, her play rate is going to drop to the worst in the game and her win rates going to sink like a witch with a stone tied to her feet.

She will be eve tier after this just because of how inflexible her ap ruinglaive builds are vs her AD builds which now have no viable early route, plus were now punished for W'ing in the jungle to keep up with other junglers camp clears.

The reason for this board is for people to do one or both the following:

Cry for nerfs about champions that they recently got beaten by. A good example is this thread, where the person lost two games in a row where there was a Tahm Kench on the enemy team both times.
Give balance ideas that may seem good to some, but have some serious flaws that are overlooked. This is because the Board is made up by those in mid-to-lower elo.
