Ok I saw in the 6.24 patch notes that Teemo's Toxic Darts were taken off the Thunderlord's Proc lists cause it was apparently a bug and never suppose to be. So I have to ask, why do other champs get to still proc it off their dots? Nasus is one who just got a buff to his abilities CDs a few patches ago, he can now W and E about ever 5 seconds or so, which completely turned the Teemo vs Nasus situation around on it's own, especially with his AOE doing it's max initial dmg to you, about 130 at rank 2, no matter if you're in the center or just barely hit with it on the edge. Not to mention the extra dmg while you're in that builds as a dot, this PROCS Thunderlords as well after 2 seconds, which in a large AOE circle is nearly 100% guaranteed to proc if he hits you anywhere near the center of it. Same with Morg's AOE, Cass's AOE, and Twitch's poison. I can't say if Brand's passive burn does or not as he's already got a 3 hit combo he always pops on you so it's hard to tell what procs Thunderlords with him. Also I tried using Thunderlords with Teemo's Shrooms, and it didn't proc it. So why do some champs get the proc off of DoTs and some don't? This is just something that is confusing me cause it's a massive give and take on it and I can see some of the reasons but also seeing things that are too similar and one gets it and the other doesn't. Just wanted to throw this out there to figure it out.

The major difference between Teemo's poison and every other skill you listed is that every one of the others is a skill shot that you have to stand in, whereas Teemo's poison simply applies and ticks away.

Teemo dot is an ability passive. Nasus and Morg dot is an active ability. Prolly the reason.

Dots should not trigger TL

Morge cancer pool is too easy to proc it

Malz Aids to easy to proc it

Lux passive should not proc it

It should be Separate attacks

I get what you are all saying about "skill shot" aoes, but what I'm saying is that there are those and OTHER dots that are proccing tlords, Twitch's poision, Cass's, many others that are skill shots but only have to hit you 1 time to put on the dot and counts for tlords. Also abilities that Hit then deal dmg after time are also counting as different ticks of the tlord's needed 3 count. I get that teemo's is an easy guaranteed proc, but at the same time so are many others without landing but 1 skill. Since tlord's has a CD anyway then why is it being given to some as an easy proc and others are having it taken away. Why not take it away from all and make it just 3 hits from AAs or First Spell hits? So that you have to hit 3 times regardless of mage or ADC, can't land an AOE pool and walk away.

Teemo's poison legit procs from 1 Auto .

Nasus and Morg have to casta spell and have you stand in it a given amount of time.

The Nasus vs Teemo match could always be turned if Nasus maxed E over Q. The only thing they changed about Nasus recently is his ult giving resists instead of AD.
