To all those "silver/bronze/gold scrubs don't know *anything"

I found it hilarious recently to watch some YouTube videos (link to one posted above) by higher ranked players discussing this "new op" build coming out of Korea. Designed primarily for attack speed tanks and bruisers, it's core is generally / (depends if jungler needs/wants slow on smite) and followed by tank items. Some throw in a black cleaver or one more attack speed item; a few sub in cinderhulk and get an attack speed item other than bloodrazor such as or maybe rarely . The idea is you become very tanky while still dealing more than enough damage to kill enemy carries -- who can't run from you easily thanks to frozen mallet. The hilarious part is: a bronze/silver/gold scrub from NA has been doing this build in front of your noses for at least half a season and came up with it all on his own. So the next time you see someone make a post that you disagree with, try actually considering the argument before writing them off for being lower ranked than you. I'm sure I'll get a ton of downvotes and posts about the build only working in the "current meta" and that what's best is always changing -- I agree with half of that; meta does change. Yes it might not have been good during all of the meta's last season, but it definitely was good for some, and I didn't use it for every patch. And to all those higher ranked players who don't auto dismiss people of lower ranks than them -- THANK YOU. Anyway, here's my build.

item 1401 item 3022 item 3110 item 3091 item 3111 or item 3047 (if they have tons of cc to chain or 2+ ap carries get mercs; otherwise tabi) or and 5th item of choice (ex: hydra (either)). If you are playing a jungler with no mana costs, go in place of since you obviously don't need the mana.

Reasoning: Get tanky early -- you have enough damage combo'd with your allies to pick up a kill or two (depending on lane) in early/mid game without building damage and this build let's you be unexpectedly tanky early on. After 2 items, you can chase down basically any champ. You can dive in 5v5 teamfights early on without fear of dying quickly even if focused; if they want to delete you fast, they literally have 0 damage left to kill your teammates except autos. If they are lower in damage, you can sub warrior or bloodrazor for cinderhulk; i just normally prefer to be tanky early unless snowballing hard. gives tons of armor, slows enemy attack speed since you are diving their carries, gives you mana so you don't oom easily, and gives you nice cdr. Note, you may swap order of and depending on if their ap or ad champs are doing more damage. not only makes you have great mixed damage, but also: gives you decent mr as long as you can auto people (not hard cc chained), increases the damage of your cinderhulk (magic pen/steal mr). if they have a ton of cc and use it on you or if they have 2 mage carries; otherwise . Finally, decide if you need to be tankier or if you need more damage for a last item. The point of this build is to drain tank their carries -- so that even if they use exhaust, do their best to kite you, or focus you down, you are still getting work done vs their carries. Again -- enough damage to kill if not focused down by their whole team, enough tankiness to not get blown up before dealing great damage if focused. Go 12/0/18 with grasp for masteries - sure you could go fervor or thunderlords, but you aren't trying to gamble that you can kill a carry before their team kills you in turn; you are trying to burn all their damage on you, get the kill with your team following up on your engage, and walk out alive.
