So about the jungle change to EXP....

Did riot intend to force jungles into lane sooner or was this just an accident due to nerfing top lane cheese? Yeah it's nice that they changed top lane to not have a cheese strat that over 75% of tops used, but I wonder if the changes for jungle were intended or not. Early game you still keep up in exp or get more even, but for some reason as exp scales up on camps, the reduction isn't covered by the jg item any more and so jungle exp is significantly less at a certain point this season than it was last season. It's not a huge issue but it means that to keep up you need kill and lane exp so you can't just farm when behind and play safe or you'll get crushed. Maybe it's part of the intention to snowball games a bit more and reward good play/punish bad play harder. If it's not though, it should be looked at bc it's gotta be frustrating for laners when jg is taxing more and forcing ganks just to keep up in EXP.

Technically, junglers should be getting more experience now than they did before.

Each camp lost 10 experience on the large monster, but the starting jungle items now give 15 experience and the smite upgrades give 30 extra experience every time you kill a large monster.

I've been fine in the jungle. In fact, I've been able to keep up with mid and top lanes in regards to level up to level 12ish at most times. (in games where we get to 12 without grouping up). Is that not long enough?

Try getting your jungle item faster.
