Why is ignite not being used mid anymore
It seems every game the opposing midlaner has teleport (I use teleport too, but i never used ignite mid)
sometimes i see a cleanse or barrier, but i only see ignite on... zed and yasuo?

Okuma1 votesI still feel like it's situational, depending on how you play. By picking TP you're able to assist top and bot a lot easier. Exchaust is also a good option as it scales a lot better into the late game compared to ignite.
Ignite is good when it comes to early snowballing and it gives way more early kill potential. At the end of the day it all comes down to who you play and what assests you're trying to bring to the team.

Kiryu1 voteslike Okuma said, Ignite is situational. And frankly, think of it this way. If you could win a 1v1 at lvl 18 with ignite, do you really need the ignite? If you can't win the 1v1 with ignite, why take ignite? It really should be used just as a way to early snowball on champs that focus on getting those early kills, so namely assassins are gonna be taking it and they're not exactly in meta atm.
