Can we do talk about the state of jungle? specifically the current red side meta?

everything in the current jungle is heavily biased towards red side, so there isn't really any value in ever starting blue buff. comparing both red and blue side first clear:

blue side clear gives 495 exp on first clear and 286 gold. red side clear gives 602 exp and 372 gold.

red side grants more experience and gold. red buff in a direct 1v1 is almost always the clear winner because starting blue grants nothing that would actually help you that early in the game.

so honestly with the disparity this bad and limited, is there any real benefit to ever wanting to start blue side?

Well nerf jungle mana sustain again so maybe they start needing blue buff again or nerf red buff. Has been too strong for some while now.

I remember days where you could tell a jungler is good, just how healthy they were. Bad Junglers in Rivers most of the time died to me. Now they always run around with 70%-full Lifeish HP around the map, even early, spam ganking every lane.
