If youre going to make scuttle spawn random

ForFoxSakes··34 votes·12,061 views

Might as well make baron, dragon and RH spawn in random pits as well. Forcing the jungler to go on a fucked up clear route just to plan for getting scuttle, so lets force the laners go to to different lanes randomly for objective control.

Hell lets make cannon minion spawns random too. One lane might get one every wave for 4 waves and another would get none. Screw up the back timing for laners just as much as the scuttle screwing up pathing for junglers. Opposing laner just lucked up with triple cannon spawn for them to get a level up and gold on you? well too damn bad, maybe call another laner for help to even it out because junglers have to deal with that

Having your lane decided by someone who's not supposed to be in it is not fun. Bot roaming mid while they're still laning? Not fun. Mid roaming bot while they're still laning? Not fun. Nobody likes that shit. Why make junglers have to go through it too?

A good jungler don't gank losing lanes. That's jungling 101. They will mute you and turn your meaningless pings off and forget you ever existed and concentrate on laners who are winning their lanes and snowball them. Sorry buddy but that's a fact of losing your lane that so many laners just don't understand. It's not up to the jungler to win your lane.

lol yeah but it was up the other jungler to make sure i lost my lane. seems like those jungling 101 tips dont account for COUNTER GANKING

ForFoxSakes3 votes

if the other jungler ganked you and you lost lane then getting you back to even still isnt productive. Their jg spent time and resources to do that gank so your jungler should be taking something away from them such as counter jg or gank another lane

counter ganking doesnt mean to gank for you after you got ganked. it means anticipating you getting ganked and being there to prevent it so the 101 still applies

counter ganking is different than simply ganking a losing lane. Please go get educated till you don't sound so ignorant.

I know that. I main jg but doesnt stop laners incessantly bitching about how many times they got ganked or how "theres a free kill here" after they lose lane by themselves yet always blame the jungler for it

That's because they don't know any better and when you tell them that ganking a losing lane is pretty much useless their ignorance truly shines with all the whining and bitching they do.

Show me because this is the only thread I have said that in. Truth sucks for ignorant folks. Stop losing your lanes and maybe you will be included as a gankeable lane that isn't feeding. It's pretty much your fault you aren't getting a gank and you can argue that point all you want and you will always be wrong 100%.

League is a video game which is about winning. There's no such thing as the "cowardly" way to play.

Well, I mean "cowardly" as in "afraid to die". Some junglers won't go in unless they're certain they won't die. Do they think we're going to bail on them? Are they new at their champion? Do they think we're going to die if they go in? I don't know, but in that situation I usually judge my jungler to be a coward. You gotta know who the cowards on your team are so you can group up with the ones who will actually stay and fight with you.

I wish we could ping more of your enemies' attributes. Like the support Lux's Q or her mana. Even a cowardly jungler would go in if we told him her Q was down. What's she gonna do, peel you with just her slow?

There's a reason why pro play naturally gravitated towards intensely boring matches and tactics, and why Riot has to continually balance and adjust to make league's pro scene actually worth watching.

Generally speaking, whichever choice carries the lowest risk of death is the right one.

Now that's not always true; sometimes it is worth it to sacrifice yourself or others. Sometimes there's no right answer and death is every choice. In a broad strokes though, understanding how to minimize risk while still doing what you need to is.. how you play the game.

This is directly visible in higher elo; where laners take less risks, which give their enemy laners / junglers less chances to get kills, and it snowballs throughout everything resulting in less 'violence' over all.

LOL, what seasons you playing in? It actually is, the jungler decides who wins lane. 90% of times the lane is lost because enemy jungler ganks while you sit in jungle doing nothing. Don't even mind if our jungler is doing dragon or actually doing something but most times he's just farming in the jungle and of course when the game is over he goes on the boards to complain about toxic laners, while actually he is the toxic one.

scuttle crab turrets.. so we can fight for scuttle crab

I'll toss in my two cents, I guess...

Really, there is no good answer to this. If you make it set to spawn in one side every time, whoever has the more accessible path to that scuttle has a lead before the game even starts; if you make it spawn on both sides one team could pick an early dominant jungler, then rush the scuttle that his opponent will try to take as part of his first clear, or, if they decided to not go for scuttle because they expected that, they simply take the scuttle on that side then could simply just go for the other side's scuttle.

And yes, that could be argued that less random = more reliable, but that could easily enforce a meta where both sides end up having to pick an early dominant jungler because they know exactly where the scuttle will spawn every time. Picking a scaling jungler or a farm reliant/level reliant jungler would mean that you would basically be tossing scuttle away.

Battalion1 votes

Or you could make scuttle an unimportant camp that gives minor hp and a ward on steroids when it dies. That way it doesn't fucking matter where it spawns, it's inconsequential until about 10 minutes, not 3 minutes or 4 minutes and is a mandatory objective. I have never seen so many team fights pre 10 minutes as I do now and that right there decides games more than a fed jungler ever did.

ForFoxSakes1 votes

Just keep it as is with a bonus to sustain, vision, movement and gold. Basically having it give an extra level with random spawn is super shitty. It's also low priority before the change despite the benefit it already gives because it messes with jungle clear pathing where it's not efficient to go into the river to get it until normal camps are cleared

Making it the most desired monster to kill for gold, exp, vision, and sustain isnt a solution. Just adding another problem. Making it a huge priority to have to go out of your way isnt just a small delay to level up on ganking, its a huge delay to even clearing your second half of your camps on first clear

That's exactly what is going on currently though.

lets make auto attacks randomly deal more damage sometimes

oh wait

Ofcourse this would be totally fine if we knew ahead where these things spawned... right?

I agree with random cannon minion spawns. That would be awesome. You're down a lvl mid but up a lvl bot. How do you adapt
