Yes, because the Boards often have habitual bitching about nothing in particular. Rarely do you see actual balance recommendations that are fair, instead the Boards most upvoted posts are, BREAK ASSASSINS LEGS, GET RID OF BOTLANE SUPPORTS, REEEEEE akali and REEEEEE irelia. This isn't constructive. The silent majority that plays the game loves it. The upset minority that complains on the boards doesn't represent the 99% of other players that love the game how it is. A lot of my friends and team mates love the new additions to the game. They love new irelia and akali. Guess what, they would never even think to check the boards or reddit, because "you only do that if you are upset." The boards and reddit need to understand that they DON't make up the majority, and understand that is why there criticism isn't accepted by rito.

Sincerly, Someone who likes innovation, change, and playing new "broken" champions.

Akali and Irelia are mentioned very prominently in the cited 'Riots biggest 2018 fuckups' thread.

Reddit also had a thread shitting on the Lol Client because it's garbage to be honest, and it's the most upvoted thread this month.

Because 90% of threads here are complaining , which is disgusting

Well, what has riot done to address complaints about damage being too high besides raising damage?

This is no surprise, it's been this way for a while. Reddit is usually infinitely more popular than any other forum for video games. The Boards may have been a bit more popular in early seasons but right now r/LeagueofLegends has a massive 2.000,000+ subscribers and an incredibly active following.

Our mods are great, but the Reddit mods are much more strict and crack down a lot harder on troll or bait posts right away. We're in the process of improving the boards with things like Gameplay+ and adding more engaging roles like 'Specialists' though, hopefully in time Riot will pay more attention to us! Just keep promoting constructive discussion and change will come.

ofc they dont 99% of posts are from iron/bronzes/silvers/boosteds mage players asking for buffs to their class and talking about how strong assassins are

Why? Because almost every time a Rioter is trying to communicate with the boards, the Rioters just get streams of circle jerk hate upon themselves by the boards. Whereas when a Rioter is communicating through Reddit, they might get hate but it's not as cancerous as the with the boards.

Also the boards are quite a hivemind. It's obvious that the majority prefers mages over any other role and it has been this way since I can remember. If a mage is op, then it's not op by the boards standards. If an assassin, bruiser or ADC is slightly viable, then all AD items are op and it should all be nerfed together with said champion.
