How on Earth do you play against Ahri?

With a new support champion out, I've been getting the role a lot less, and I've had to play mid a couple of times. This never goes well, but it never goes as badly as when I face Ahri. Which is like, all the time, I never noticed how often she's in my games holy shit. I try to play safe and stay under turret, as I usually do when I'm not sure what I'm doing, but she seems to just dash under and kill me anyway. I need some help I think. I know who i'm banning if I get it again, because at the moment I'm ready to down a bottle of bleach.

She is extremely popular. Always has been. Number 1 mid laner with the number 1 pick rate. You hit her aggressively. Or deny her kills. She is like the queen of roaming so make sure bot isnt being stupid. If you are playing a mage, learn how to sidestep and then blow her up. She goes oom prettyy quickly so abuse that. Matchups against assassins is a different story. I usually pick kat into her, or lb. Someone who can be mobile and bursty to out burst her or out roam her. Hope this helps~

play any champ with targeted abilities. works wonders. roa/rylais/abyssal first item = ahri is forever out of range of killing you, unless jungler shows up.

Ahri is always a skillmatchup translating into if you're not as good as her, you will loose no matter how you play.

Playing passive is good tool to avoid Assassins, but Ahri is a hybrid. You have to fight her, you have to push her into her tower. If Ahri is not fed during Mid-Game, she's basicly useless has no DMG and can be ignored or blown up.

Remember that Ahri throws most of her stuff out in a linear fashion. You need to be mobile and move sideways more.

Having said that, she is exceptionally annoying because she is hyper mobile (similar to Yasuo and Akali). Its too hard to catch her without some kind of hard CC or if you happen to be a hyper mobile champ.

Make sure her skills hots can't hit you. If you are low and she is lvl 6, u have to make sure that she can't hit u even if she dashes. It's all about preventative measures.
