Demonblade Tryndamere Rework?

I just got Demonblade Tryndamere off a re-roll so I was pretty excited to try it out but this thing looks as bad as old Warwick.

Has this skin ever had a rework? If not I think it needs one very badly especially considering it is a legendary skin.

Anybody know if this is mentioned anywhere to be on a rework list?
