Ok, I think you got it all wrong. You got tricked.

Basically the delayed time is not for you to escape. It is clearly not designed like it. As the people above said, you already misplayed and took a very thin skillshot from a assassin- You're going to pay for it. The problem is how much. The price will be determined on how you hit leblanc so she will go back to her return pad before you get the 2nd damage and snare.

Yes, there's supposed to be Counterplay(TM) according to Riot.

Landing one simple skillshot should not mean a guaranteed skill or Flash from the enemy.

Not gonna argue that Blitz isn't BS as well, but usually he can hardly solo kill you. When you die to his hook it is because he pulls you into his waiting team and gangbang you. LeBlanc can do so on her own, simply because she lands one skill. Really, Riot really should reduce the range of the radius she needs to be within to stun you with her chains afterwards. It is ridiculously big.

It really isn't. You said "is there any reason leblanc shouldn't be able to do this?" There is a reason, because that skillshot enables her to hit you for free with the rest of her kit and destroy you. Blitz' skillshot is okay because, not only is it the most integral and useful part of his kit, he also can't kill you alone. Which means it requires two champions to kill. which means it's significantly more telegraphed and that's one less person on your team doing something useful.

You can blame that on ADCs. Assassins are meant to kill ADCs (and other squishies, but mostly the ADC is the focus), LB is an Assassin. The only way for LB to chain the ADC is to have a long ass range tether, because over half the ADCs have a long-ish range mobility spell. If people were able to flash out of it, it would mean that Ezreal Lucian Tristana Caitlyn Corki Kalista Vayne would all be able to easily escape the ability with one of their basic abilities. So, in order for her kit to function, she has to be bullshit to other classes who don't have as much mobility.

If you get hit by morg binding you don't even get the chance to try to dash over a wall or flash out of it - you're snared instantly and will take a shitton of dmg, AND it lasts 2x as long. If you get hit by a morg bind, especially after 20 min, yeah, you're probably dead.

Same for Lux binding, thresh hook, and 3000 other skillshot CCs.

Besides Karma, LB is the only champ that actually gives you a chance to escape once you already misplayed and got hit by it in the first place.

Get better at the game.

But Leblanc has a dash that helps her get into position for her to land her chain. None of the champs you mention have a dash to get into position or the damage to burst you( except for lux). The only similar person to Leblanc, in my opinion, would be ahri's because of her mobility and CC.

Leblanc's chain is meant to give her incentive to walk next to her enemy and literally wait for her damage. It makes her predictable as hell, and if you don't find a way to punish her hard or potentially kill her then she wins. Usually.

Otherwise she would have to be buffed because if the chain range was reduced so you could flash out of it, her only reliable combo besides W-Q would suck. She would rely on one mechanic like Fizz does at the moment.

No you shouldn't. You need to force her out the range which isnt that hard. You can dodge the chains too. Delay time is the time for you to hit back if you run like a headless chicken trying to get out of the chain then its your fault. I literally never had a hard time dealing with new LB. Old one was me trying not to die. You people wont stop crying about everything. She does not instaburst anymore. If she dashes to you then chains you it means she is sacrificing damage. Instead of crying about LB how about Veigar dealing 1.5k damage with a point and click ability that has a non existant CD.

If I land a tether in a teamfight 9 times out of 10 i have to move out of range because of their team zoning me off, if you're a squishy target that wandered into fog and didnt dodge a very thhin skill shot please don't complain about it, it's hard enough to land the tether as it is.

You can dodge it - its a pretty skinny hitbox. You can also (gasp) fight leblanc and try to kill her/force her to back off before the chain procs. If your champ has invulnerability like Ekko Kayle Lissandra, you can do that.
