It's not like Annie is overpowered, but the effort, knowledge, and skill to reward ratio is disgusting. I play other mid laners who I think are overall better picks, but I ban Annie because anybody can pick her and do well, and she's entitled to a kill every time her flash is up, and she's just a pain in the ass to deal with.

I don't mind Zed anymore unless it's a godlike Zed player. I don't think he's a good ban because not that many Zed players are good.

Martyrofsand2 votesWhile not mechanicly difficult if you think its easy to play Annie, or really any mobility and range lacking champion in this day and age, you are selling skill levels short. Unlike many modern day generalist like Zed/Nid/Lee/etc who can do pretty much everything to some degree with few to no weaknesses, Annie actually has exploitable weaknesses that you have to play around when playing her. She is more what a champion should actually be sacrificing mobility and toughness in order to have a CC and damage. Is she the most complex of champions? No. But is she one of riots better designs? Absolutely.

To be fair, she destroys just about everyone if she can get close to them. She can even beat Malzahar, one of the best duelists (not really sure if its fair to call what Malzahar does dueling though) in the entire game; if she can stun him before he can unload his rotation, full build Malzahar can probably survive a rotation long enough to do his combo, the problem is mostly tibbers (who will still attack even if annie is cc'd since he's his own unit, in the same vein as Malzahar's voidlings)

when two apc with hard cc and similar levels/gold fight who lands cc earlier wins at a certain point if, say, ahri lands charm (which is 975 range) she kills annie, if annie lands stun (625 range on q/w, 600 on tibbers) it's vice versa

Yeah, what makes Annie so scary is how reliable her CC is, theres really not much you can do in the way of avoiding it other than staying away from her (or buying Banshees veil and hoping it doesn't break)

If you play malz correctly you wou pool and malific vision wait for it to bounce to her then drop your silence get in range and ulti annie is dead :)

She is a recommended champion a learner champion so ya she should be asy to play.
