Can Darius get his full reset at lvl 11 now?

Games nowdays are snowballing so fast he doesn't have time to make a real impact. and Mid game is the most important part of league now that adc snowball bot take the FB tower gold and instantly goes top and take on the game from there.

Darius strongest part of the game was his mid game but now It feel wasted by always have to wait for his ult to come off cd.

I want to also point out that a Darius going for his reset mean there's more time for his opponent to react to them being low and give them time to either Heal, flash, dash, support to come, cc him and get out.

Darius punishes misplay and poor positioning but doesn't reward him for playing well let's say you won top lane vs a yasuo, It's 15 min in you're lvl 11 hes 9 he's pushing top without wardsafter you took his tower down, you then flank him, after some jukes and fight you get him low enough to kill him with your ult, you push down the lane and see that your team is about to fight for drag you go down to it, it takes you 30 sec ti arrive after the yas kill your ult is now on cooldown a fight happen and the adc on the other team get super low, you try to finish it but the support heal it and then the lifesteal kick in, you couldnt even do anything that fight because your ult was on cooldown even tho you used it well and got the reset on yas who would have escaped if you didnt use it on him. The game snowball from there and you can't do anything to stop the adc from stomping everthing coming in it's path.

tell me WHY should Darius get punished for playing well when the laning phase is over by the time you are lvl 11, Riot did it for Garen giving him his late game tool at lvl 11 cuz the lanning phase is over by then.

Darius got his reset removed at lvl 6 to prevent snowball in LANE, games now end so fast and the lanning phase end so much earlier than it did in S5.

Darius shouldn't be gated by CD AFTER the lane is over he already has PLENTY of counterplays enough.

Darius winrate is declining each patch now Riot can we please just make this one change so he's a real champion again?

I talked about this with a lot of Darius mains and they all agreed with this and all feel how Darius feel bad to play now esp in higher elo

The only problem with this would be that he would terrorize bronze (and maybe silver) in a way only yi and teemo have before. His winrate would be ridiculous and they'd all cry about it, and they're the majority unfortunately.

I think it would be a healthy change for high elo, but it's not going to happen.

As a former master tier Darius main that went to Morde

Darius is garbage in high elo, and would need more than a reset at lvl 11 to be decent Papa Dunk who was also master dropped to d4 by only playing Darius

he's just a joke, but won't be buffed because people below d3 can't deal with him

Ults have cooldowns. Tough cookies. Darius is no exception. His ult should just be an in-fight reset for chained ults, not a permanent reset. It's fine lategame cuz ult cooldowns don't really matter much then.

But look at Yorick. You think it's an injustice to use your ult to kill someone and not have it up after? Yorick's ult goes on a MASSIVE cooldown after use and it's not even that reliable in a fight.

What about Illaoi? After she ults she isn't doing much else. Why is she being punished for using her ult?

What I'm trying to say is no special favors, ults have cooldowns.

As a current Diamond 1 / Master Tier Darius one trick, I stand as one of the best Darius players NA has to offer and the following post is completely legit in everyway. Darius cannot perform at the level other champs can at the high ends of the ladder. He becomes extremely bad against competent players when playing from behind or even. His itemization requires him to spend money on damage early in the game, its an investment. Because if you cant perform with the money you spend on the black cleaver/ tri force it isn't possible to pressure or be a threat in team fights since you will die instantly to a farmed adc within a 1.5 second stun. Darius has 0 tank attributes in his kit to allow him to jump into a fight strategically and get out like Gragas. Aswell, Darius needs his ult reset granted to him at level 2 for the early/mid game pressure when roaming and pressuring lanes. Its already horrible if it reaches the late game because all the damage dealers can ignore your armor/magic resist not to mention your performance by this time in the game becomes extremely limited, due to items like ga, locket. Its just too much of a disadvantage to pass mid game for Darius. He cant serve as a tank and cant serve as a "juggernaut".

I'd much rather they fixed league overall instead of continue down the path of balancing even late-game champions to be good earlier.

League doesn't work when games are decided so quickly. And with shorter matches it's just not as fun to use some of the characters anymore.

well said, darius is now high risk low reward champion due to how game has changed drastically. Hence they gave garen some love because riot knows he runs at people so in order to make it easier, they gave touch to his w. Likewise, darius works same way. He runs at people but why hasn't he been touched? Feelsbadman

More like give him an actual reason to max W again like before. Before you could get more AD out of it. Now it's just 140% AD at all levels.

Maxing E in this meta is indeed great because of the passive and even for the cooldown, but before, maxing W for maximum damage potential was alot better.

what is this thing that everyone keeps saying...darius wins all matchups.... do you even play darius? riven,fiora,gnar,teemo,jayce fuck even garen and nasus can keep up with him and a good jax too he isnt the lane bully he once was...he needs some type of buff

Darius does need a buff. Even Yasuo can win lane against darius. People just need to stop being tools when it comes to a champion that is quite simple to beat. He has a pitiful Mid to Late game as he struggle to find his footing. He legit can only make shit happen with flash. Otherwise he just sort of is there. Yes his lane is good but so is a lot of champions. Just learn how to play against it. You can just freeze the wave under tower and enjoy your safe and free lane.

I support this idea even though I play Yasuo top into him and he gives me the most fun time in the world at top lane.

Personally, I would rather see his reset for LVL 2 be buffed to 40 seconds rather than 20. That way you still have the roaming potential to get an ult off in that situation you described, but it still isn't constantly up.
