I seriously need advice on climbing to Plat
I need some help. I'm playing my heart out trying to get to Plat. Something is amiss. I feel like most of my matches I play very well and set us up for success, yet lately it seems like I've been cursed. I thought maybe it was just the kids out of school and chalked it up to summer time League, but I don't want to use that as an excuse. Here's what I've noticed so far in my most recent losses:
- People feed beyond imagination. I'm talking 10 + deaths.
- No one listens to pings. Whether it's for an objective, watch out for a gank, or to disengage. Pings are completely ignored.
- People tilt extremely easily. One death and the flame war begins. It's all downhill from here.
- On the death note, people will run right back into lane, re-engage, and die. Playing safe is not an option I guess.
- Champ select. People pick whatever they just want to play instead of for the match ups or team comps.
- Kill chasing. People still run around the jungle chasing kills instead of taking advantage of a lead and pushing towers.
Sometimes I feel hopeless with winning and have no clue what role to take. Seems no matter where I go, the other roles fail. I'm not prefect, I know sometimes I suck balls too and I know when that happens. What I need help with, is how to over come these burdens. There has to be some way to adapt to this. Even in the matches I feel like I play well but lose, there must be SOMETHING more I could've done to sway the tide in our favor. I was one win away from Gold 1 and now dropped to Gold 3. It's very frustrating. It's to the point that I feel like I'm going to lose every time I queue up. Nothing to do with personal confidence, I just feel like a lot of factors are always working against me more than the opposing team. I don't engage in flaming, I ward and watch the map, I take breaks and try to play with a clear mind. Maybe I just need some third party advice since I'm obviously missing something myself. I haven't improved enough I guess to reach my goal for this season. Maybe it's my macro play, who knows. Anyway, any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
