@Riot: Would a "Swarming/Zerging" Champion now be feasible?
When you play as Zagara in Starcraft 2's co-op mode, your game plan is all about swarming the enemy with wave upon wave of Zerglings and Banelings. Your forces die easily, but can be replaced nearly instantly, allowing you to overwhelm your enemy with sheer numbers.
Presently, no League Champion is able to do such a thing, even among the current pet users.
might be able to put out multiple minions, but that doesn't even come close to Zerg levels of swarming. Having a Champion who could overrun a position with sheer numbers would be awesome to have.
Before you say "FPS issues", clearly that isn't as much of a case anymore; in Odyssey mode, there are often hundreds of different units/actors in play at a time, and no one I've come across has had FPS issues.
To balance it out, I'd have this Champion's "Broodlings" (just a placeholder name) die in one hit from just about anything, expire quickly, die upon attacking a structure, and not cause unit collision with any other units (so enemy Champions can't get creep-blocked by them).
Is this still a no-go for Riot, or could it work if properly developed?
