Gragas and Ziggs can predetonate their Q and W, respectively. Why can't Lux do the same with her E?

Gragas' Barrel Roll and Zigg's Satchel Charge can be set to detonate the moment they reach their destination. Why can't Lux do the same with her Lucent Singularity? There's really no reason why she shouldn't be able to.

EDIT: Downvote why?

Probably has something to do with giving it synergy with her snare and counterplay.

Look at the synergy Gragas gets out of his Q.

For instance, if you hit Q while the barrel is in transit to the target location, it will immediately explode upon reaching the destination. Lux's E has to reach the destination before you can reactivate it creating a bit of lag time between landing and activating. It can never be as fast as a Gragas barrel not only due to reaction time but because of latency.

Lucent Singularity is the big AoE spell that slows right? I think I played against enough Lux bots to know that. Anyway, if it is, then yeah, you can do that....and people do it...a lot

No, you actually can't. There's a 0.1-0.2 second delay after its arrival before you can detonate it. It's cost me dozens of kills as her.

This is a question as old as time itself.

I used to get insta-detonated by Luxes all the time before people just stopped playing her. Pretty sure you can detonate it the moment it lands at it's drop zone.
