What if Black Cleaver and Bork didnt stack with each other when applied by the same person?

The items could finally remain stable and left in a balanced state for their intended users.

How would this even work?

Like, the two don't even do remotely the same thing.

Well in my mind it would be coded so that the one allows the most damage take priority over the other one. Other than that, no idea. But I definitely think these two when combined are one of the main issues plaguing bot lane currently.

Black Cleaver reduces armor. BotRK does on hit damage and has an active that does damage, slows the target and speeds the user.

They both add 40 Attack Damage. Once again, they don't do the same thing.

one does percent health damage and the other reduces armor. So which ever allows for highest damage output on auto's (not including the passive effect of the other) is what would be passively applying. None of this taking into account of the bork active though. So assuming this concept is applicable in game, I don't see why it couldn't work.
