I have every champion, so I'm able to use those shards for blue essence for master tokens. That's honestly great. It takes so long to get keys and get lucky enough to get a champion to disenchant. That's really awesome. Thanks, again.

That... Sounds like they didn't think it through, thoroughly. I'm not sure if buying champion shards with IP is permanent, though. Who knows?
