Why is Galio forced to be a forgotten champion? I feel like with this game, if Zed or Lee Sin fall out of the meta for 3 patches they are immediately buffed to remain relevant. But champions like Galio, Cassiopeia, and Anivia have been irrelevant for several seasons, except for Cassiopeia where she had one or two patches as a competitive picked then was nerfed and left that way. Will something ever be done to make these champions relevant?

5.18: R cannot be canceled within the first 0.25 seconds of casting anymore. 5.15: W Now gives correct assists. 5.12: R deals significantly more damage. 5.6: E cooldown reduces with rank. 4.21: R taunt duration no longer effected by tenacity.
In fact, Galio has received nothing but buffs and beneficial bug fixes since 2012 when Draven was released.

The problem is his old school design prevents him from being buffed too much. He hits like a truck, is tanks as shit, and has amazing team play, but his mana costs and cool downs have to be ridiculous or he'd be absurdly OP. Needs a rework.
Galio actually got a pretty good buff off of the preseason. Most mages, and some assassins are taking Deathfire Touch now, which on every spell hit, applies a minor DoT... Galio enjoys that.
