Well, Riot currently has a dilemma on their hands. There's no secret that dynamic queue is essentially team builder all glammed up to look shiny and new, with a few minor changes. That's it. We all know how the popularity of team builder when there was another option available.

Meanwhile, people are currently complaining that dynamic queue has no business being the ranked system because of how easily you can get carried by a friend. Everyone already thinks that solo queue is the one and only way of determining your rank, because you don't have any duos or bigger groups of people helping each other out. If it's this way now, what do you think is going to happen if Riot were to release solo queue right now? People would essentially bully dynamic queue out of any kind of popularity.

While solo queue can alleviate some of the problems with dynamic queue, that being the incredibly high number of people queueing as mid and ADC, it will make things so much worse. If solo queue is released, dynamic queue's times will definitely suffer, and the whole community would be in an annoying state. People who like solo queue will pretty much invalidate any skill that someone may have, just because they play dynamic queue. This will probably push more people away.

Once queue times start to get a little long, people will abandon dynamic queue; its a problem team builder had. In team builder, the queue times sucked, leading to a more people quitting and giving up on it, leading to worse queue times.

Riot wants players to play dynamic queue; from what we've seen, Riot really likes this system and doesn't want to see it go. So, that's probably why they haven't released solo queue yet.

Trust me, I'm sick of these assholes that queue up as support, but then go some stupid nonsense like Gnar support and just build him exactly as they would in the top lane, steal my cs, don't buy a support item, and don't ward.

How many thread about Solo Queue did you post so far? 6? 7? Not only are you polluting the boards with your constant nonconstructive complaints threads about dynamic queue, but you are also being extremely toxic, calling Riot "scumfucks", a "fucking embarrassment of a company", "lyingsonofabitch" and other insults in many threads... You are even acting like Riot employees aren't people, questioning why Jeffrey 'Lyte' Lin get to have holidays in one of your post.

Seriously, put a sock in it already.

Edit: Oh what a surprise. I got downvoted. Not that I expected anything less from these boards. Way to promote toxicity.

They're not developing it. It doesn't solve dynamic queue's problems. What more do you think they can say?

Their silence is your answer. SoloQ isn't happening, at least not this season

Dodging the subject is the entire reason the subject exists.

There was never going to be a solo queue. That was simply a lie. The point of the lie was to drag out the rage from the community so that instead of one explosive reaction they got a long drawn out response (which is what we're in the middle of right now). Gradually the number of threads on this topic will become fewer and fewer, and eventually it will stop being talked about.

Which was the plan from the beginning.

They're just trying to hint at the fact that they are going to re implement the dodge mechanic back into the game. That's got to be it.
