This is perfect and summarizes quite a few reasons why we don't like ranked, but also gives a DETAILED description on how you plan on fixing it. This is what I have been waiting for for a while now, and I plan on seriously taking advantage of it!!

This system is a massive buff to OTPs and people who int if they don't get their primary. What a fucking disaster. This looks along the lines of Dynamic Queue

You make it sound like one tricks weren’t able to achieve high ranks, when it’s well established by high level players that either one trucking or having a narrow 3-4 champ pool was the best way to climb.
As it stands there’s two types of one tricks, ones that dodge fills and alternates to maintain their mmr and ones that just take the L.
The first option is obviously a problem because you have to queue 5 times in ranked just to get in a game, and there’s also hordes of players waiting out timers who could be in queue.
The second option is even worse because it’s basically an auto loss for the other 4 players, even with non one tricks, no one is 100% consistant across all roles and because the system doesnt account for that its all but a guaranteed loss.
With this new system as a one trick I’m less inclined to dodge games, and I won’t be ruining the game for my team mates either, having to rank up multiple times is a small price to pay if it means games are more consistant and evenly matched and queu dodging goes down.

Pandemic Punch1 votesThey better figure out a way to lock players into the positions they are playing. If they don't, a diamond mid laner who gets auto filled as a support can swap with someone in champ select. They can end up getting their Diamond-level position in a Bronze-Silver game.
Stars Shaper1 votesThe reason we hate Ranked is less about Riot and more about the ppl playing this game.
There is nothing holding back ppl to make you lose a match rather intentionally or try to tilt you for the entire match because this is how they fill their low level ego. And a loss like that weighs a lot more than the random win you get because statistics say so.
The only reason I still punish myself with some games aorund here and the reaosn why you still see me typing is because of how much I like some of the characters in this game and how much time I've spent on them.
