Two things to help deal with Ekko
Besides all the other counterplay stuff that people would rather not do and just complain about

Teamfights- Kill him. If he is doing moderate, he should be a first target. With a little focus and even a single CC, he gets Ded quickly, and saves your team a whole lot of hassle

1v1's - Be smart and know the situation, but FIGHT HIM! He isnt a quick burst champ unless way late and way fed. He has to fight for a bit to rotate his shit a few timed. I cant count how many times I jumped on someone and they get scared and try to flee, giving me free time to roll though my rotations and proc my passive, when the fight might have gone different had they tried fighting me.
Seriously though, people freak out and flee instead of fighting most the time. You put a good hurtiin on me I'll be forced to pop ult just to heal and survive
(protip) When dueling Ekko keep the fight moving so shadow doesnt land on you
