I don't care if you play A Sol ranked

You can do what you want. Just play the game too.

Don't autolock him first, and get countered.

Don't pick him INTO your counters.

If you get countered play smart.

Just because you desperately want to play the new champ is no reason to ignore the basics of the game. Remember you haven't practiced much with him yet, and use normal good judgment when in tough lanes. You still need to ward, still need to play safe when appropriate, ect.

Don't forget the rest of the game while playing a new champ.

No reason to play him in ranked and I despise the players who do this. Normals exist for a reason

I'm not arguing for or against es playing new champs in ranked.

People can do what they want regardless of my opinions about it.

I'm just saying when you do, still keep other aspects of the game in mind.

People assuming I am telling people to do it. I'm not, and I don't think its a good idea, but I don't really care.

If my teammate wants to pick him in ranked I ban him, if not I just hope that the other team picks him for freelo

The issue is with a new champion the trial and error that seeks to determine counters hasn't been in play as long. You could say that melee champions with gap closers counter him but you can't account for the intricacies of the mutual interactions of their kits without significant testing.

I think people are a bit judgmental here. There really is nothing wrong with using NEW CHAMPS in ranked. People have that right and if you are so against it, then ban it. That's what the ban list is for; if your teammate hovered it then explain to him that's how you feel, you're banning it. But otherwise you have no right to tell people NOT to play a champion. Honestly don't try to be like someone who forces or imposes a meta onto others. If you must hate or blame someone/something for new champs in rank, blame Riot.

I still stand by the statement if you have good enough mechanics, even new champ releases won't make it "harder" to play. You just might not be able to play the champ to its full potential yet. If you watched a game in challenger pre-dynamic Queue being streamed with like 3 jungle mains and 2 ADC's then watch how the other players adapt to playing roles they never really played, they might suck at first and might tiny mistakes here and there which MIGHT cost them the game but overall they aren't that bad where you'd think "they suck" or anything. They got fundamental mechanics down.

The problem when a new chanp is release it alway end be stomp or stomp everyone else because people dont totally understand how to play against it.

OK. i see all this hate in the comments about people playing Ao Shin (ima call him that. his names is too damn long) in ranked already. I am one of those people who is playing him in ranked already. Why? the community doesn't know what counters him yet, learning how to play him is key to learning how to fight his counters later.

I will throw his counters out right now, Anyone that can stick onto Ao Shin counters him, especially lee sin and zed. Ao Shin is very powerful if you can play him right, his early game is trash and that's when you take advantage of him. However once he hits lvl 7-9 be wary. At that point he should have a ROA and an increased mana pool to keep with his low mana costs.

Learning how to play into skilled players IN RANKED is the only way I have found to get better at champions, while this may seem stupid to most its true. People are trying to win in ranked and want to get better. In ranked people mostly play their best champions so will have intricate knowledge of their kits, but when an unknown factor enters the rift it becomes something else. Ao Shin has good engage and disengage while having basically no movement speed. He has an escape IF he isn't hit. People play into his strengths and don't realize it.

Before you down vote just take a second to think about what i've said and laid out here. I've basically given you a free guide on how to beat him and what to do against him.

Have a good day on the rift.

No, they should not play him in ranked. The whole point is that they won't know the lane matchups this early. Why? Because the champion is new and players have not had time to learn about him. They might think they know him because they saw some streams from PBE or played him in one or two normals that turned out well, but the fact is that it takes time for a new champion to "sink in" to league's collective consciousness with regard to both strategies to use and to combat him.

New champion and yet people think somehow he has definitive counters already. We get it, getting inside of his balls makes you take no damage from them.

How do you get inside of his balls through a wall that he's flying through with a stun? He's less counterable the more skilled the player using him gets.
