1400 true damage as maokai, just imagine, you are maokai trying to tank the enemy team you have 1/2 hp and did a kill before the teamfight has started and die just because garen has 40% missing health true damage, you can't even reduce the damage with maokai ulti...
just like darius was taking 1/2 of your hp as true damage in season 2. Now it's the same with garen

To be honest, I feel like Garen could use a little buff actually in his late game to his base Health Rgn because he doesn't have much on other Juggernauts in terms of burst potential or damage, and he's not that spooky to get glued to as say Darius, whom has a reset on his TRUE DAMAGE ult if he executes.
Garen is in a good spot, much better than before his changes (@_@)

waste ulti on maokai? I think that if he didn't ultied me they wouldn't kill me with 20% damage reduction i was so tanky and had my passive heal. Beside he helped his team so they didn't have to focus me for 3 hours, then his team could have helped him to kill everyone including the adc.

what are you talking about? before a teamfight i killed someone. Iin the teamfight i was the frontlane and got focused by the enemy team. Garen finished me with his ulti and i had 1/2 of my hp

He does 40% of your missing health. Last time I checked, 40% of 50% is only 20% of your total health. Which would have left you a little below 1/3 health...

You are actually completely forgettingg about it's Rank 3 575 base damage.
Still, hotfix? Not really. You have bigger problems if, as Maokai, you have gotten the most kills within the last 5 minutes.
Zorae421 votesMy bad, I did totally forget. Although you'd have to only have 1900 max health to get killed by that amount. Which is a little unbelievable for a tank to have at that point of the game.
So correction, it's impossible for Garen to have killed him at half health by doing 1400 true damage to him. That doesn't make any sense at all.
