AP malphite counterplay
If I get Zhonya's I have like 0.25 second or less window to use it, otherwise it's useless
If I get banshee's he can protobelt or Q to break it.
is this champ balanced? Or just degenerate and I'm mad cos bad?

No. Incredible anti fun, especiall AS Slow as Bruiser fucks you. Malphite does so well into Darius and you never come close since he not slows u, but steals ur MS.
Hex or Maw SHOULD in theory counter it. Whether or not that dinky shield is enough is up to the Malph damage.
Just got to play against a Malphite/Kai'sa botlane. The synergy is disgusting. I built MR for the Malphite combo but even with that I still died in one combo before the knockup wore off, because that's how high damage is. Death recap says 50% of the damage was Kai'sa with one Q and one auto. 50%. I wasn't even building armor. A hard engage support should not have more burst than a burst marksman.
literally just build any defense and his useless, well unless he gets free roams.
He's a deathsentence, and it's annoying, especially in ARAM. But he's not played often enough for me to care about it. Besides, most of the time it's very clear when the other person is about to ult.

Malphite has way too much CC for an assassin.
You just have to respect the cheese. It sucks. You can’t go near him. He will bully you... and that’s it. He falls off a cliff. Same with J4 or Gnar Mid. The hard part is psychologically accepting that this lane will be boring if played perfectly and punishing if ever misplayed.
Here’s how:
- Stand outside his Q range unless he’s just used it or is busy.
- Push the wave with basic attacks and abilities, forcing him to use Q on the wave.
- Poke him or shove extra hard while he’s trying to keep the wave under control.
- Let the wave bounce back and then just sit outside turret cs’ing. Give up some last hits to avoid Q poke.
Just don’t let him get that first kill. Your mental will boom because you lost to a rock, and he will know better how to handle 1/0 Malphite than you will. Grab Merc Treads after Lost Chapter.
