Where's riot's skill-based MMR?

I remember the devs and community whining about how it was impossible because you could game stats but clearly not. It turns out when you actually spend development time on improving your actual game systems instead of introducing shiny things to keep the community content you can improve the system. Maybe blizzard will be a pal and leak their "impossible" algorithm to riot. It would be nice not to play with a guy with a 30% win rate, 8 loss streak and no decent game to be found in the 20 game history.

If third part devs in early beta can make something that accurate with less information AND resources than the ACTUAL TEAM, if riot cared about how matches were made they could too. Blizzard proved it could be done for MOBAs in general and mobalytics is showing it can be done in League.
