I love how people act like rank = intelligence and no one of "low" elo (whatever is lower than me is low elo bullcrap) can possibly understand anything about the game.
First off, knowing about the game and being able to execute can be 2 different things. Not every coach is challenger, but they understand things and help players make better decisions and good picks and bans. Even though they are lower elo than the players they coach. So this alone should be enough to point out the flawed logic of higher rank = more intelligent.
If a "trash" silver/gold can theory craft stuff before the Korean geniuses do it - from whom the best NA players steal the idea and "import" it to NA, then clearly low elo "trash" who "know nothing" can know something.
Morgana support? - She used to be mid only and not the strongest at that - I brought her support. Wait a year and the genius high elo pro's catch on. And she becomes THE META support for a time. Plus 1 for low elo scrubs.
Nautilus support? Did the same thing - just a few patches ahead of the genius high elo players.
Tank mordekaiser that would make tank ekko crap his shorts because of how unkillable he is while dealing tons of damage? Yep - no high elo player I saw came up with this, but awhile later tank ekko was born with similar theory behind the build.
Frozen mallet was almost exclusive to gnar at one point. But I said, why not play it on aa junglers like ww, shyvana, etc. 2 patches later or so, I see vids by high elo EU and NA streamers advertising this OP new Korean build - on-hit frozen mallet junglers and toplaners. Wow - 2 patches after some know-nothing NA gold scrub comes up with a build, the brilliant Koreans are coming up with the same build "before anyone else". Lol.
Stop assuming like every "low elo" "know nothing" "trash" player cannot possibly have any concept of the game. Even blind players who actually do have no clue why something is good or not can see when something is way out of tune with how good/bad it should be. They don't always know WHY, but they can still know something is not balanced. Furthermore, there is more innovation and trial-and-error in low to moderate elo than in much of high elo - leading to some false OP and some REAL OP builds and champ roles being discovered.
