Right? The last thing she needs is a 47th skin. She's got plenty of variety and price points; Riot really needs to consider champions other than "lol op and flashy plays" for skins.

I wasn't quite fond of Bewitching Tristana already, if she'd get another skin... But hey, let's hope it's just a concept of said artist, although I'd recommend to scrap it because of how much Guerilla Tristana seems like a similar skin.

It's probably easy (when compared to some like Zyra c; ) to make skins for trist.

Most likely one of the bigger reasons for it.

All the times i´ve been playing some poor weak farmer (lategame marksman) peacefully tending my fields, harvesting crops (minion lives!) only to have a wild Zyra appear from a bush or beside me and suddenly i am dead.

Ah the pain and misery, never expected there was this kind of retribution to be had.

Only 8 skins, 9 if you include her base. So not that bad... Plus only 3 of them are in store, one is facebook freebie...

Overall it could be worse... look at Annie who has 10 (11 if you include the base), her I'm sure we'll see another of soon enough too :/

Annie has actually had a VERY VERY 'meh' track record when it has come to skins. 3 are in store. One is Hextech. One is through a bundle. The rest are legacy remodels.

Personally I think TF is an even better example of champion who doesn't need anymore skins. But tbh neither of them need anymore.

Technically speaking Goth Annie is in the store, even though it is part of the Champion Bundle so that makes it 4 ;)

Hmm TF an alright example too, since he has 7 in store and 10 overall but 5 of the skins in store are low tier so they aren't anything special either.

If we really want something that needs no more skins in store or otherwise, who gets at least a yearly skin is Ahri. She may only have 7, one is Legacy and 2 are low tier but that is still a good assortment too (plus her chroma).

I doubt we'll ever see the skins team not make an Ahri skin. She's most definitely one of their top 3 best sellers when it comes to skins.

Well obviously it is why they make a lot of skins for certain champs, cause they just sell so nicely. For her though, it will stop once she gets a Legendary, just like I don't think we'll see Riven/Yasuo for awhile now that they got Legendaries.

I mean for Tristana it didn't stop when she got her legendary. It's not so much a case of how many skins they have, or of what quality. It's just whatever champions they decide to give skins to.

Well true, but that was also her second Legendary technically (which was made to pretty much replace the outdated legendary) but I think it does slow down a bit more for some of them. Though with this whole thread she may be getting another soon enough, so who knows.

The problem is not how many skins she has. (Its actually an problem too but lets forget that.) But in what time she gets those. She got Dragon Trainer Tristana in the beginning of 2016 and in the same year bewitching Tristana.

They were indeed a year apart as most skins normally are.

To be fair, if I wanted to look for accidental leaks, videos that showcase the workplace in Riot would be my first place to look. I just don't try to look for leaks usually. Ruins the surprise.

I don't think Riot members just upload things without letting a team of members take a look at it first. I'm pretty sure this was intentional.

For reference, they have made a ton of little tidbits and hints of champions in splash arts. I believe creator viktor and battle bunny riven included a hint towards Vel'koz and Zac, respectively.

Also, one of the first pool party login screens had an unknown person with cloudy tattoos on their arm. This was before the champion that had it, Jinx, was released.

It's kind of fun to see all the little hints they drop and connecting the dots.

This will be interesting, because this would conflict with a leak that has been mostly right up until now.

Here, it's listed that Omega Squad Twitch, Veigar, and Fizz will be coming out, not Tristana. TBH, I would rather have an Omega Squad Tristana than Omega Squad Fizz though.

There's a lot of things that already conflicted with that leak.

Things such as name inconsistencies - Cosmic Reaver Yi became Cosmic Blade Yi,

Angelblade Riven and Demonblade Yasuo were actually Dawnbringer Riven and Nightbringer Yasuo. Riot even said those were never their names anyway. Plus they were also both legendary tier and that wasn't mentioned there either.

We also saw Conquer Karma while this was out and she's not on it.

Recent release of Chemtech Tryndramere and reveal on the SKT skins, all of which weren't there either.

So there could be plenty of other things that the so called leak didn't know, didn't have the correct info, ect... they just kind of based it on what they saw after all as it was said be someone on a tour.

To be honest name consistency really doesn't matter because Riot can simply change it last second and it'd be "inconsistent". Point still stands that everything on that post is true so far.

Plus, leaks don't usually reveal EVERYTHING, so the fact that Conquerer Karma and Chemtech Tryndamere wasn't included doesn't ruin the creditability of the leak.

actually with the skin names, the leaker probably didn't have a name for those skins and put in names that looked right to them based on what info they had

They probably saw the community's reaction to Fizz receiving yet another skin and started working on Tristana's. Not sure how time much do 1350/975 skins take to make.

Also, to whoever downvoted me, I didn't say this out of hatred for Tristana or general jerkiness, I'm just bitter over Riot leaving Tristana in a poor state for over a year.

Most people that complain about certain champions getting multiple skins... need to grow up. Seriously isn't it obvious why varus, garen and tristana get a bunch of skins why cassiopedia and yorick don´t?

When making skins, various aspects are considered:

Champion popularity (if a champion is played a lot, he/she will have more players to buy skins) Thematic maleability (characters like lee sin and tristana are easy to idealize skins for because of their in game assets, thematics and models without expendina ton of resources on them) How easy is it to make skins for characters (Yorick and Zyra don't get a ton of skins because it is harder to make skins for them, since they have more particles/models) What is the champions position in the update pipeline (Because it doesn't make much sense to work on a skin for a champ only to be updated 3 month later and work twice on it)

So yeah all those factor make it so that a champ may get way more skins than others. However I think Riot has dropped the ball in that they should make 1350 and 1800 tier skins for not so popular champions every now and then. That way they would ofset not selling as many skins by making more money for each skin they sell while keeping the fan base happy about not getting as many skins on say, cassio, because they already have a super aweasome 1800 tier skin for her

They have already confirmed in this Dev Blog that several champions that haven't received skins in years will be indeed getting them this year (such as Cassiopeia, Viktor, Yorick, Illaoi). Plus it also goes over why certain skins are made for champions as well. So pretty sure most people that actually look around know these things (some don't though sadly). So can't really change the world.

Just remember that there are many skins that are being tested. Having it be a rough could imply a simple model/texture change to see how is the feel.

Dear god I hope Twitch still gets the Omega Squad Skin. It just fits his thematic too damn well. Wasn't so sure about Fizz and Veigar tho.

While I like the idea of a OS Trist with her as like the Demolition specialist or something, she just got Bewitching Tristana or whatever it's called less than a year ago.
