There is more than one way to be good at League
Or in my case bad.
Look, I am no authority on how to play League well. Obviously, I am Silver. But with a background in sports and video games, I know there is more than one way to be good at almost any game.
This post is directed at the notion that every champion needs to be a reflex based, mechanically challenging champion. Because studies have shown, most mechanical skill is genetic, and can merely be improved on by a small percent through practice.
But mechanical skill is not the only aspect of LoL. This isn't Mortal Kombat or Call of Duty. MOBAs stem from Real Time Strategy games. Just like RTS games, good use of high APM(Actions Per Minute) always is good. But even people with bad physical abilities can win both types of game.
As I see it, the ways you can be good at League are:
Mechanical Skill Game Knowledge Map Awareness Objective Control Attitude Communication
There may be more. But that is what I thought of off of the top of my head. Not even pro players have mastered all of these. That is why we see some who are focused on map control while others are renowned for their mechanical skill.
Now this is not to say champions like Udyr, Shyvana, Garen, Nasus and such cannot be made more interactive. But the idea that every champion should require Azir levels of skill is stupid.
For example. Rating myself Mechanical Skill 2/10 Game Knowledge 3/10 Map Awareness 6/10 Objective Control 4/10 Attitude 3/10 Communication 1/10
I am bad at mechanical skill. Always have been, except in platformers. Yet still in my Starcraft Brood Wars days, I was able to climb ladder through game knowledge, map awareness and strategy. The same applies to League, some people are mostly about mechanics like Guso or Boxbox. But others, like Hai, prefer to compliment their team strategies and out perform the enemy in map control.
This is why, while yes some kits need more interactivity and reworks, not every kit should require a huge amount of mechanical skill. That not only kills a lot of fantasies(such as being an all in face basher) but also damages the idea of other skills mattering. Because if Shyvana and her team outplay Yasuo in the metagame, map control, resources and coordination, that is no less valid than Yasuo being better at twitching for a mechanical outplay.
Humans tend to specialize differently. Let's not take that away.

rework #3,
is a great item because how much he can utilize it with his base AA's vs the original it was seen as a noob trap. Eventually leading to half his original kit being removed, i can't even believe how much he has been changed over the time and he was still too much in high level play but sub par among the large populous.
(your q is a sad excuse for a earth champion imo). Her character was designed around roaming, her ult, her passive, was a roaming champions dream. But then people at high level realized they can kill the caster minions at lvl 1 with your Q, which allowed you to push waves extremely well and harass. she became the new
but with better waveclear for a trade of more difficult cc. And once they entirely removed it (original had 33% bonus - 50% - 0%) which was way too much seeing as her e was nerfed yet again in the same instance. resulting in a champion that cannot push waves effectively anymore, which means she can't roam, which means they destroyed the role she was supposed to be when doing this nerf, and i cannot in any way understand how champions like
, champions with high base damage with lots of cc and utility get compensated with many of the nerfs they get, but utility based champions that have decent burst and sustained damage are hard nerfed. she is starting to come out of her slump and people are starting to find ways to deal with the nerfs, but I really feel that riot punished and completely destroyed this champions primary role of a roamer, by hitting her waveclear very hard while also nerfing her on top of it...
When your most mechanically intensive champ is
Objective Control 0/10
Attitude 5/10
Communication 2/10
