Low cooldown, great active, decent mid game stats, great gold efficiency

It's a good item.

Yeah, i've been seeing a lot of Midlane Kha'Zix's use it too. I kind of want to try it, it sounds like a hell of a lot of fun. (plus Kha's crit animation is hilariously deadly)

Good item for ADC's that have an element of burst to them. I've found great success with it on Quinn, especially since using it while in ult will trigger the melee duration.

The active got changed pretty recently so it lasts for 6 seconds flat, rather than a few extra seconds on melee champions.

It's always been an awesome item, it makes an ADC an ADC 1 item in as it offers every ADC stat beyond life steal (super helpful in Dominion where you're only getting 2 major items to begin with). The active also gives a ton of gold-value, allowing a lot of champions to overpower their opponents in fairly short engagements.

But...people read it as melee only before the change and never really bothered using it. WIth only 4, then later 2, more seconds of time on the active.

1: It's cost efficient, and cheap 2: It's slot efficient while active, and the active doesn't have that long a CD 3: One of the only AD items with CDR on it
