Sunglasses OP

I'm interested to hear people's opinions about this. I recently learned that the damage from Leona's Sunlight Passive (which causes her spells to apply a debuff which is consumed by her allies' attacks to deal bonus magic damage) is reduced by 1 against champions wearing sunglasses. This means, for example, that the damage against Surfer Singed will be reduced by 1 as compared to normal Singed.

Now, this change is flavorful, and moreover is miniscule. (I imagine the chance of that 1 base damage making a difference is less than 1% in any given game featuring Leona + sunglasses champs.) However, every once in a while, it will make a difference, allowing a champion to escape with 1 HP instead of dying. The resulting swing is actually pretty significant, say 400 gold (although the base gold for kills is 300, the killed champion also loses out on farm and map influence, so I think this is a conservative guess). That large of a swing is at least potentially game-breaking.

My opinion is that skins should never have a direct impact on gameplay. (Some skins change the way certain champions "feel" by making animations larger/smaller/differently colored, etc., and some of these changes can be advantageous. I have no particular problem with that since hitboxes, etc. don't change, so the advantage is all psychological.) I don't think anyone should ever lose a game because their opponent chose Surfer Singed instead of normal Singed (and with the large number of games of LoL that have been played, I'm sure that's happened a handful of times). So here's my question: How do you feel about skins influencing gameplay? (And the related question: Do the rules on Leona's Sunlight ability need to change?)

Masked Shaco is still a distinct advantage over classic Shaco or any Shaco skin without the specialty Deceive smoke.

Riot should fix that really.
