Skarner's speed and his ultimate make him hard for Illaoi to deal with and target. Even if she does manage to land some hits, his shield soaks up the rest of what she throws at him. Additionally, this makes a great escape tool for Skarner when she uses her ultimate. Either W away and wait it out... or ult her away from her own ult!!! This makes him ideal for the pesky tentacle porn not to penetrate his hard shell. Heuh heuh heuh...see what I did there?
FooDang5 votesThat Illaoi is pure garbage. Looked up the summoner, garbage build, all i saw was garbage combos, the game prior they went 0/10/1 as Illaoi.
GJ wrecking that Illoai though but, you need to change your title of the post because it's misleading. It should be called "Wrecking a Nub Illaoi" because thats all I saw in those vids.

FooDang1 votesHmmm I might recall Scarner being annoying AF as playing Illaoi. He was JG though. The movespeed does make him hard to hit and dat Ult...But I think everyone hates Scarners Ult lol. I can see Scarner being a difficult matchup. But that Illaoi build was not punishing, and those "combos" were bad. I build her full AD/bruiser smackdown and not that pussy tank BS. Lvl 7 mastery here.
