Buff Braum or Nerf Thresh

Most games I see on the preview ranked for the "pros" use Janna or thresh. Janna has the clear weakness of squishy and (I underestimate) low damage.

Thresh is tanky (although people tell me no) and has cc to back it up. (One grab =gg and unlike blitz won't lose the game if you grab an Amumu or other engage tank)

Braum right now although used is weaker than leona and thresh and maybeeeee Blitz. OUt of the tank supports he isn't the strongest so maybe buff him like ratios on damage (not really needed as he's a tank not damage) or maybe W can give an armor and mr boost aoe instead of just the target. He needs something/ / /

none of those is good buffing braum will make him a brute force (op) nerfing thresh wont realy change anything, his kit is owerloaded with sheer utility so all he needs to be a top tier support is to exist

Release Braum was strong. Very strong. So strong in fact, he got nerfed quite soon after release, because Braums would just run at you and smash your face in with their passive while being absurdly tanky. So Rito nerfed his tankiness and his base damage (including his base AD). Now he's just okay.

thresh has stupid low armor early on...braum mitages almost all dmg in one direction..both are fine

Don't worry, once the Ashe rework goes live, you'll see tons of Ashe/Braum comps completely destroying the game.

I think Braum is on par with the rest of the supports. It really depends on how your using him. He can also make fantastic saves by blocking ults which is something no other support can currently do. That speaks for it self, now of course you can body block those ults but with Braum does it with his wall, when takes away from the damage being dealt. Also as the prior poster says with the Ashe rework Ashe/Braum lanes can possible be very popular.

He's actually the squishiest support at level 1. Beyond that, his Soul-scaling armor can fall behind other supports' level-scaling armor if things go badly, and he lacks the level-scaling MR of melee supports like Leona or Braum. For him to be tanky, you need to itemize for it or hit late game.
