It's not. Ranked and normals have separate MMR

No, if I recall, they changed it way back to factor Ranked MMR to also act as a factor in normals

if it is, the factor is tiny.

if you play enough normals, your normal mmr increases just like your ranked mmr increases. its probably what happened to you.

i get matched with bronze 5 accs vs an entire team of gold-diamonds, sometimes i get one or two diamonds. I highly doubt that me being in Bronze 4-3 in ranked qualifies me in MMR to be placed with other bronzes against diamonds
