Title.

Also -- does this build sound viable on her in this Meta? [Sorcerer Shes/Mercs [If they have CC], RoA, Rylais, Liandrys, Morellos and Void Staff]

She doesnt have her lane bullying anymore and she is mostly surpassed by other champions.

She doesn't exist untill level 6, even then you're still not as strong. Her Q is a basic attack that costs mana. She has extreme mana issues, miss your combo only once and you're low on mana. Her poke gets outdamaged and outranged by 99% of the midlaners (Seriously, only Lissandra's Q does less damage per mana) She has bugs that will ruin your combo. Yep they're still there. She is bad early, mediocre mid game and falls of late. You kind of need to play as an ADC in teamfights, positioning is key and you need to dance arround dodging every skillshot that comes at you, because if you only get hit by one CC ability you're done. The only reason I main her is because she is the most fun champion to play

After her nerfs she's poor in all stages of the game. She can't last against champions with energy or champions that use no mana at all. She's weak against some assassins and against the meta mid laners right now.

She is High risk and low reward. Unless you hit everything perfectly the enemy will get away and you just blew 50% of your mana. She has to win lane.

Also, Riot refuses to acknowledge her existence because they refuse to buff her, along with other immobile mages.

Lux and xerath are in good spots.

Because she got heavy nerfs on her q early in the year, the width of her stun was decreased, DFG was removed and then tanks (who counter her) got buffed with the introduction of cinderhulk. Many of the other midlaners are just better now. Plus, Riot doesn't want Bjergsen to succeed.

That is a pretty good build. Would go more damage though if you get ahead early and less tank. Maybe Zhonya's instead of Liandry's to get the armor and active.

Sorcerer ok, void staff ok, liandry or/luden ok, rabadon ok. I take morello + graal So +15 +39% magic pen (4% masteries) +15(if liandry) +40% cdr +200% mana regen (+ graal passive when you kill an ennemy)

  • merollo passive (always good)
  • 150-190 damage with luden +20 magic resist ( im not sure) With roa/ rylai an liandry you are tanky but in a long fight => out of mana or spell in cd and you die

you never take morello AND grail. one or the other. If you are against an AP mid, grail, anything else, morello. never both

Never? Why? Justify this! You are against an ap mid ok, but there are four others player against you (adc, top, jungle support) you don't stay permanently in mid lane ! I don't believe in your dogma or postulate "never both"

because taking both reduces your damage of course. The main reason people get these is for the Mana regen and the CDR, and in the case of grail, magic resist as well but, not for the damage. If you need both for mana regen, then you need to learn how to conserve your mana better. Go watch any pro player play mid. They will get one or the other but never and i mean absolutely NEVER get both

Fun fact: Anivia's recommended items on ARAM are a Grail, a Rod of Ages, and a Seraph's Embrace.

Less RoA more Ludens.

Cause she's fairly hard to play well and still pretty weak if you do. :P

I bet she'd give her balls for some buffs! :P

Pretty much what everyone else has said here. Your early levels are god awful and you don't truly get to be a lane bully until level 9 when you max out your Q and get that bonus damage or earlier when if you get ahead by some misplay on the enemy side or miracle on yours. Six to nine (no pun intended) is when she begins to come online, and for a mage whose essence is to do damage and snowball into the game, thats far, far too late.

She's not played anymore because Riot didn't take their time nerfing the core aspects of her kit. If they would give her some more lategame damage (which she needs since early game damage is bad after the Q guts), she might see more play.
