i'D say the main reason why reksai is a dominant pick as Groggy and SEju are almost permabans. I myself also opt to ban cancers like Azir Ekko or Kalista instead of Rek.

I think the problem is that people don't know what else to use because they only see Grag, Sej, and Reksai in the majority of games, perceiving them as strong due to popularity; the same thing happened when Lee Sin was popular. Meanwhile Zac, Vi, Jarvan, and Volibear are all really strong picks that fit into many teamcomps and scale relatively as well as the most popular junglers. Many other junglers are strong too but are more snowbally or reliant on what team comps the teams have.

Rek'sai is really just a safe pick, she has few counter, she scales pretty well, has a lot of utility, she sustains well in the jungle and can escape many situations or duel it out if she gets caught out. Same with Gragas, which is why they are the two most popular junglers in the LCS. They are both INCREDIBLY safe. Gragas isn't the tankiest champion in the jungle, nor is he the tank with the most damage, but he is safer than any tank jungler in the game (as well as having a really strong early game). Rek'sai is similar in that she doesn't have the most damage of any fighter, nor is she the tankiest (though she does have the most jungle sustain), her power lies in the utility she brings and the ability to put pressure early and everywhere potentially.

That's how I see it. Good job banning Kalista though. I don't think she's necessarily OP, but she is kinda broken (mobility/kiting, natural support synergy, a better version of Twitch E, objective control, vision, and a get out of jail free card for her support) and just annoying to play against.

No, Jarvan Volibear are both jokes i won't even mention Zac as he takes half hour to farm up, Vi is okay.

So no. Problem is Grag and Seju are just OOOOOOOOOOOOOUTanding in EVERY aspect what a jungler can dream of so there is essentially no reason to pick anything else into the jungle. THey are tanky, they have cc, dmg, are good at 1v1 (due to redsmite), skirmishes,teamfights objective control, highground defending etc.

Only thing what rek lacks are the siege and siege defending.

Ryze is still top tier due to his ridiculous snare, and the hotfix is taking weeks. Vladimir is still absolute cancer to play against. Sejuani's winrate is ridiculous. Ekko still has a Veigar level stun with a Veigar AoE ult...

Rek'Sai is a better version of Zac in every single fucking way. Amumu is extremely snowball reliant. Rek'sai is relevant in any team comp.
